Yogic cleansing processes

One Yogic concept tells us to release the obstacles in our body and on a psychological level as well. There are blockages in the Nadis – energy channels – and thus Prâna – energy – cannot flow properly.

Liberating these obstructions is the purpose of practising the Kriyas, the six inner cleansing processes.

Ancient Yogis hence considered our global physical constitution to which the different Kriyas are applied (brain, eyes, nose, stomach, intestines and digestive tract).

All these processes cleanse the body and prepare us to Prânâyâma.
